Companies participating in an ATE Scholars consortium work in partnerships with a local college to "grow" engineering technicians to meet their needs. ATE Scholars are engineering technology (ET) students who work hand in hand with employees from many companies in the Florence and Greenwood, SC areas and around the world. Company sponsors provide scholarships, books and supplies, and paid internships for students enrolled in programs featuring the SC ATE ET Core curriculum. Consortium members also contribute annually to support student recruitment and recognition activities. The list of affiliates continues to grow every semester. Some SC companies where ET students can expect to have the chance to work for while getting their degree are:

"I work hand in hand with the engineers on several projects and have learned the value of teamwork and determination."
